Do I need to book in advance?

We advise you to book in advance for all activities as this secures your space as well as making it quicker to check in at reception.

Do I need my booking confirmation?
Yes, please make sure you have a copy of your confirmation as you may need it upon checking in.
If you haven’t received a confirmation email please check your spam folder. If it still has not appeared, please email/message us.
Do I need to be able to swim?

For the aqua park, both wakeboarding cables and stand up paddleboards, we ask that you are able to swim 50 meters unaided and are confident in deep open water.

Do I need to complete a waiver form and how do I complete one?

Every person who wants to participate in an activity needs to have signed a waiver form. Anybody under the age of 18 needs to have a form signed by an appropriate parent/guardian on their behalf. Please complete all waiver forms online to speed your check in process up.

What time should I arrive for my activity and where do I check in?

If you are booked on for the Aqua Park, please arrive one hour before your chosen time slot to allow time to follow our check in procedures for your session. 

For all other activities we suggest you arrive at least 30 minutes before your slot (45 minutes before during peak times)

On arrival you will be signposted to the relevant check in stations.
– For Aqua Park please follow the queue and wait for a window to become available.
– For all other activities please queue for the beach hut. 
If you are unsure on the day please speak to a member of staff when you arrive.
How do I book a party / package deal?

Once you have booked your party, you will be contacted by a member of the team to confirm the details and answer any questions you may have.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes, we sell gift cards for all activities. Our gift cards can be general, Birthday or Christmas themed and include a personalised message!

What are your camping rules?

Parent/ guardian are asked to be responsible for under 18yrs at all times.

Disposable BBQ’s are not permitted.

No loud noise after 11:00pm

No entry permitted to the lake at any time unless activities have been booked.

Maximum speed limit on site is 5mph

 

Are there any height, weight or age restrictions?

Participants must be 6 years old and at least 1.1 metres tall to participate in the Aqua Park sessions. 

Bumper boat participants must be 90cm or over to ride. Children between 90cm and 140cm must ride with someone 140cm or taller.

Please note all participants need to wear a buoyancy aid to take part in water activities. We do have small size buoyancy aids available for babies and toddlers, however there are a limited number available. If you have your own, we do suggest you bring it along with you to avoid disappointment.

Do you have free parking?

Yes, we have free parking available onsite for customers. This may be limited during busy periods. We also have disabled parking available. Please ask a member of staff if you require assistance gaining access to any areas of our site and we will endeavour to assist you.

Can I pay by card?

Yes, we accept card payments both in reception and in our Waters Edge Cafe. 

Do you have lockers?

Yes, we have small cage lockers available, however these may be limited during busy periods. Please bring a padlock with you or alternatively you can purchase a padlock from reception for £3.

Do you have changing rooms?

We have both male and female changing rooms available along with cubicle changing rooms perfect for families.

We also have baby changing facilities in the family changing rooms and toilets.

Showers are also available (*Showers are closed during the colder Winter months for safety reasons)

Are dogs allowed?

Of course! We love dogs and allow them everywhere apart from the beach area.

Please note dogs must be on a lead in some areas of our site.

What is your cancellation policy?
To cancel a general booking, you need to let us know that you have decided to cancel.
You are entitled to amend your booking date but this will be subject to availability. You may cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours before your start time. 

48 hours notice or more – 100% refund

24 -48 hours notice – 100% as a credit note

Less than 24 hours notice – No refunds

To cancel a party/group booking, you need to let us know that you have decided to cancel.
You are entitled to amend your booking date but this will be subject to availability. 

14 days notice or more – 100% refund

Less than 14 days notice – 75% refund

 

 
No refunds will be issued for failing to turn up, arriving late for a booked session or for being removed from the activity.
Circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to, industrial dispute, terrorism, fire, natural disaster, technical failure, emergency situation and other such circumstances; We have no obligation to make a payment to the participant or refund any part of the booking. We may offer an alternative session at a reduced rate or provide you with a credit note. We will endeavour to notify the participant as soon as possible. No other compensation shall be payable.
What happens if the weather is bad?

Unless there are high winds or thunder and lightning then activities will go ahead. If we do have to cancel activities then we will do our best to contact everyone who is booked on and also announce the closure on our Facebook page. Please contact us if you are unsure or need further assistance.

What do you recommend I wear for the various activities?

Please wear a swimming costume when taking part in water activities. If it is a sunny day and you do not plan on wearing a wetsuit then we suggest you wear a light t-shirt to cover your shoulders and if you are going on a SUP or pedalo then we also strongly suggest a hat is worn. We also recommend you wear suncream to protect yourself from the sun.

We do suggest you wear water shoes or sandals when going on our beach. We do have fresh water mussels within our water and these can be sharp if stood on.

Spring Lakes Watersports Centre
