Plans can change. The options available depend on the type of booking and how much notice you give us.
Changing your booking
You can move your booking to another available date if you contact us at least 24 hours before your session.
All changes are subject to availability.
Cancelling your booking
The notice required for a refund depends on the size and type of your booking:

Refunds are not available if you give less than the required notice.
Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice
Bookings cannot normally be changed or refunded with less than 24 hours’ notice.
If exceptional circumstances prevent you from attending, contact us through our contact page. A manager will review your request, and supporting evidence may be required.
Any refund, booking credit or gift card offered outside this policy is at the discretion of the management team.
Wetsuit Hire Cancellations
The refund available depends on when you cancel your wetsuit hire:

If the Met Office issues a hot weather warning covering Spring Lakes on the day of your booking, you may request a refund for your wetsuit hire as a digital gift card.
Wetsuit refunds and digital gift cards must be requested by contacting us. They will not be issued automatically.
Gift Cards
All gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date they are issued.
Late Arrivals, Missed Bookings and Removal from Activities
We cannot provide a refund if you:
If We Cannot Run Your Activity
Activities may occasionally be affected by severe weather, emergencies, technical problems or other circumstances outside our control.
We will contact you as soon as possible and explain the options available. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer an alternative session, a reduced-rate replacement session or booking credit.
No additional compensation will be provided.
Cancelling a Member Session
Member sessions must be cancelled or changed at least 24 hours before the session starts.
Late cancellations and missed sessions may be charged or deducted from the membership.
Members who arrive late may be refused entry, and their place may be offered to another customer.
Cancelling a Membership
Memberships are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.
A membership is non-refundable once the first session has been booked.
Memberships cannot be shared, transferred or resold.
Activity Cancellations and Site Closures
If a member session cannot go ahead because of bad weather, maintenance work or a safety-related closure, the session may be rescheduled but will not be refunded.
Membership periods will not normally be extended because of cancellations or site closures. Any extension is at the discretion of the management team.

Deposits
A deposit is required to secure your event date. Part of this deposit is non-refundable.
The exact deposit amount and any non-refundable portion will be confirmed when you book.
Any refundable damages deposit will be returned within 14 days after your event, provided no deductions are required.
Cancelling Your Event
The non-refundable part of your deposit will not be returned. The following cancellation charge will also apply:

Changing Your Event Date
We will try to move your event to another available date. All changes are subject to availability.
The following administration charge will apply:

The administration charge must be paid before the new date can be confirmed.
Final Payment and Guest Numbers
Final guest numbers and full payment are due 14 days before your event.

If Spring Lakes has to cancel your event, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
We cannot cover any additional costs or provide further compensation.
To cancel a general booking, you need to let us know that you have decided to cancel.
You are entitled to amend your booking date but this will be subject to availability.
