To cancel a general booking, you need to let us know that you have decided to cancel.
You are entitled to amend your booking date but this will be subject to availability.
You may cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours before your start time. Less than 24 hours notice an email can be sent to info@springlakes.co.uk and the General Manager/Park Manager will consider extenuating circumstances (proof may be requested).
For bookings up to and including 4 people for activities (no food package included ) we need a minimum of 48 hours notice for a refund.
For bookings of 5 people or more (no food) we need a minimum of 7 days notice for a refund.
For any bookings with food included we need a minimum notice of 10 days for a refund.
For bookings of 20 people or more we need 14 days notice for a refund.
Any offer of credit on an account is at the discretion of the management team and cases are treated on an individual basis.
No refunds will be issued for failing to turn up, arriving late for a booked session or for being removed from the activity.
Circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to, industrial dispute, terrorism, fire, natural disaster, technical failure, emergency situation and other such circumstances;
We have no obligation to make a payment to the participant or refund any part of the booking.
We may offer an alternative session at a reduced rate or provide you with a credit note. We will endeavour to notify the participant as soon as possible. No other compensation shall be payable.

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible. Our cancellation and date change policy helps us manage staffing, suppliers, and venue availability for all guests.
Deposits
A deposit is required to secure the date of your event.
Each event type may have a different deposit amount, and part of this deposit will always be non-refundable.
Any refundable portion (often a damages deposit) will be returned within 14 days after your event, provided no damage charges apply.
Full deposit details are included in your booking confirmation.
If You Need to Cancel
If you cancel your event, the non-refundable portion of your deposit will not be returned.
In addition, standard cancellation charges apply:
12 months or more before your event: £95
6–12 months before your event: £150
3–6 months before your event: £250
Less than 3 months before your event: £500
These fees cover administrative and operational costs already committed to your booking.
If You Need to Change Your Date
If you would like to move your event to a new date, we will do our best to accommodate you (subject to availability).
An administration fee applies depending on how close the request is to your event:
12 months or more before your event: £50
6–12 months before your event: £100
3–6 months before your event: £150
Less than 3 months before your event: £250
All applicable fees must be paid before a new date can be confirmed.
If Spring Lakes Must Cancel
In rare circumstances, Spring Lakes may need to cancel an event (for example, due to extreme weather, property damage, or unforeseen safety concerns).
If this happens:
You will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
No additional compensation will be offered.
Your safety and the safety of our guests and team always come first.
Final Payment & Guest Numbers
Final guest numbers and full payment are due two weeks before your event.
After this point:
No refunds can be issued
No changes can be made to guest numbers
Any outstanding balance may result in the booking being cancelled
